Smart Robotics for Coastal Ecosystem Protection
We develop practical marine robotics workflows that help scientists, fisheries managers, and coastal partners detect invasive species and improve ecosystem intelligence.
Our initial pilot work focuses on invasive green crab detection in Bellingham Bay and nearby shallow coastal habitats relevant to native species protection.
Coastal monitoring programs are often constrained by labor, coverage, and detection timing. We aim to complement existing methods by improving spatial visibility and helping teams prioritize intervention.
